The Nokia N810 Internet Tablet presents you with the internet you are used to, in places you are not. It lets you talk, blog and write emails on the go. The Nokia N810 Internet Tablet is featured with the same sparkling touch-screen 4.13″ display with 800 x 480 pixels resolution we saw in its predecessor. The most exiting upgrade over the former model is the added GPS receiver with preinstalled maps. The Nokia N810 Internet Tablet makes it easy for you to move closer to your friends and family not to speak too much fun with faster connections and a Qwerty keyboard. Listen up to 10 hours of music playback quality stereo.
The Nokia N810 Internet Tablet , “coming as the successor of the Nokia N800, the new gadget upgrades it with sliding QWERTY keyboard and built-in GPS for navigation, as well as many other smaller tweaks. Straight out of the box it has mapping software but similar to the “Nokia Maps” found on S60 smartphones. The Nokia N810 internet tablet mobile phone has an integrated GPS receiver which allows you to pinpoint your position and find a wide variety of points-of-interests using the pre-loaded maps. Upgrade to Wayfinder’s voice-guided navigation for turn-by-turn directions and explore the world on foot or in the car.
The Nokia N810 Internet Tablet has a very useful undocumented feature where it can operate as both a USB peripheral and as a USB host. In peripheral mode it will function as a USB mass-storage device when plugged into a PC so that files can be copied onto the device. Wayfinder Navigator features voice guided turn-by-turn navigation in 15 languages. It takes advantage of the maps stored on the Internet Tablet device and fast and reliable route calculation gives you right directions to your destination. Built-in applications and utilities include a file manager, a PDF reader, a notepad, a clock, a calculator, and an X Terminal client. Unfortunately, we’re once again disappointed by the lack of PIM tools, such as a calendar, which would go a long way for making the N810 more versatile and marketable to a broader audience. Built-in stereo speakers are great for rocking out to Pandora or to your own audio tracks loaded on a memory card.
